Amazing Earth Holes Top 3

The Kimberley Mine can be found in the Kimberley, South Africa known to be the largest open-pit and underground mine excavated by hand. It is also known as the " Big Hole " it has a surface of 17 hectares (42 acres) and is 463 meters (1,519 ft) wide.




The hole measures 240 meters deep ( 790 FT ) for the record but debris partially infilled it's depth as years go by  leaving the measure to 705 ft or 215 meters depth.
